A plan for a more capable local NinjaTrader copier. These are planned capabilities, not features available in today’s beta or promised delivery dates.
Finish candidate installation and native retests, actual partial-fill schedules, rejected changes, emergency races, restart reconciliation and repeated-session resource checks.
Release gate: Evidence tied to the exact installed build; unresolved cases stay visible.
Saved local profiles, individual follower controls, persistent local alerts, account masking, and an expected-versus-observed account dashboard.
Release gate: Loading never arms, acknowledgment never clears uncertainty, and controls affect only their reviewed scope.
Fixed quantities, exact fractional ratios, pooled allocation, quantity previews and explicit micro/mini mappings with expiry and tick validation.
Release gate: Partial fills and rounding never accumulate extra contracts or create an unintended reverse position.
Multi-target brackets, follower ATM execution, mixed per-follower modes, scale-in and reversal workflows, and additional supported order types.
Release gate: Each structure has defined ownership, protection and recovery behavior before it becomes selectable.
Independent leaders and instruments, account ownership checks, duplicate-window protection, and copy-loop prevention.
Release gate: Overlapping groups cannot independently control the same follower or exhaust shared limits.
Tradovate and Rithmic inside NinjaTrader, then both mixed directions and separately qualified external-origin orders visible in the platform.
Release gate: Route-specific evidence and eligible test access. Local simulator results are never substituted for provider results.
Measured first/last follower latency, realistic follower-count tests, prolonged sessions, install/upgrade/rollback checks, sanitized diagnostics and support instructions.
Release gate: Publish measured limits and known issues. All builds and tests run locally.
The scope excludes Internet and LAN copying, hosted trade execution, remote trading controls and signal distribution. Broker connectivity still requires the network connection managed by NinjaTrader. No remote copying service is required by CanaCopy.
A feature is finished only when its defined behavior is implemented and tested. No claim of being faster, safer or more reliable than another copier is made without a matched comparison.
